Aussies never used to be such sore losers. I guess it's been going on so long now that it must REALLY hurt right?

Re: Fantasy cycling spain 2020
I understood the eventual winner had won previous time trials so was the favourite but I bow to your greater knowledge

But it’s obvious that ALL medals won by Team Sky or whatever name they have changed to to avoid responsibility can be quite simply be thrown in the bin. Including the Tours won by the Belgian & the Kenyan. No better than Lance Armstrong.
If it was a Russian team that had improved so dramatically over the years and drug irregularities like those of Dr Freeman were revealed the UK press might pay more attention
Shameful hypocrisy

Wins easily.

Australian fell apart in the last 10km.

Adam Yates wondering if he can reverse his contract with Ineos now!

Richie Porte is a danger to everyone else in the peloton. He's too unlucky. Him and G in the same squad would be catastrophic. Brailsford has done well to ship out Froome at the right time, I expect G will be on his way in the next year or two.

Re: Fantasy cycling spain 2020
True that, didn't realise it was as much as a minute. Bodes well for TGH who looks like he'd be more suited to the pan flat short TT tomorrow. Obviously Hindley wouldn't have been turning himself inside out in the first one either but the second TT is quite telling.

The battle of the two cuntiest first names on two white men ever. Whoever wins it would have to be the most unlikely winner of a grand tour ever. Well since Chris Horner anyway.

Kelderman has a good TT, he couldn't pull back 1:30 in 15km could he?

Re: Fantasy cycling spain 2020
Tao would not have been going full gas in the frst TT as he was Geraint Thomas's mountain super domestique at the time and saving himself. In the second he was the GC man in the team and he beat Hindley by a minute.

Hindley was riding like he felt he needed time in the bag but he beat Hart on the first TT and Hart beat him the second, not by a big margin of I recall correctly.

Mad shit can happen in a final TT, look at the Roglic capitulation in the TDF. Will be exciting, TGH at a slight disadvantage going first of the two.

Re: Fantasy cycling spain 2020
Ineos could end with their greatest ever Grand Tour, assuming Ganna / Dennis win tomorrow and TGH stays upright.

Who needs Froome or Thomas?

Ganna, TGH, Dennis, Sivakov and Kwia riding for Bernal is frightening.

He is a better time trialist than Jai Hindley though.
It is going to be tight tomorrow. Never had either of the top 2 in with a chance at the start of the race.

Fuckin hell! What a Giro!

Re: Fantasy cycling spain 2020
Tao's not the best time trialist though is he? On paper Kelderman has this in the bag I believe. Don't know about this snivelling cunt Hindley. Needs a big day on Saturday.

Re: Fantasy cycling spain 2020
Epic stage at the Giro today. Rohan Dennis burning off everyone up the Stelvio and Tao Geoghan-Hart just a good Time Trial away from winning it especially if he can put more time into Kelderman on Saturday and keep Jai Hindley within reach.
